Nature is the body of God. God permeates every molecule in creation. We are in a physical body and the best way to connect to God, is Nature.
The Tree
One of the best ways of connecting to God I found, was using a suitably large Tree. Initially, my agenda was to connect to the Tree and energise myself using the energy of the Tree. By sitting and leaning against the Tree, I mentally connected to the Tree and visualise that I am one with the Tree. The Tree is part of Nature and therefore the body of God. In my attempt at this exercise, I not only re-energised my body, but I got an unexpected shock when I felt the presence of God. I did not know that I could do that. Should I say that it was a coincidence? Initially, I thought that it was a co-incidence, but over the years I found out that there are no co-incidences. Everything happens for a reason. When the time is right, you are guided to have your experience.

A video describing the process
The Dog
I understand that all creatures are connected to the ONE. They experience the sound of creation. Some years ago, I was in Wales with some friends. We were practicing chanting OM / AUM (the sound of creation). As I was doing it my friends Labrador tried to lick my mouth. At first, I thought it was a coincidence, but every time I chanted, the dog came to lick my mouth. I realised that the dog found the sound delicious, and wanted to taste it. The dog recognised the sound and sought to connect to it.
The Crow
In October of 1995, I had a dream of Swami (Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba) and his students singing happy birthday to me. I also was teased by Swami with my nickname when I was a child which was “Kaka”. “Kaka” means “a crow” or “a southern Indian Muslim” in Malayalam. When I got up, I meditated and responded to Swami in a jokey way complaining that he called me “Kaka”, which was the way my siblings teased me especially on my birthday. As soon as I said it, I was snapped out of my meditation by the loud sound of “kaka” from a crow just outside my window. Swami was demonstrating the connection of God and Nature both on the physical level and dream level.
The Shaman
In the early nineties, as I was meditating, I was shown a past life from a few hundred years ago in which I was an American Indian shaman. In that life I was shown that I experienced “pragyanam brahma (God’s presence is everywhere and in everything)”. I merged slowly into All of Nature. First, the village with all the people, the wigwams, the animals, the plains in front of me and all the mountains around the plains. Later, I learnt that “pragyanam brahma” is one of the Mahavakya’s or central declaration of the “Yajur Veda”. This Veda is one of the four collections forming the earliest body of Indian scriptures, consisting of the Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda, and Atharva Veda.
The Whales and Dolphins
In 2015, my wife and I went to Australia and experienced the fauna and flora of Australia. On one occasion we were standing on a cliff overlooking the sea. I could see some dolphins swimming in the sea. I chanted the OM sound and all the dolphins swam closer to us. There were at least thirty dolphins. Later, we took a boat out to sea looking for whales. Once again, I made the OM sound. The whales swam to the boat and I could see them looking at me and then going under the boat. It was not a co-incidence, as I made the sound of OM, they came close to connect with me. It seems that these intelligent animals recognised the sound of OM.
